Meet Allen Kushinsky

Allen Kushinsky has served as a classroom teacher for more than fifteen years, guiding elementary and middle school students with compassion and high expectations. Drawing on his graduate training at Teachers College, Columbia University, he blends research-based instruction with a deep respect for children’s competence and curiosity.

After seeing the limitations of one-size-fits-all instruction, Allen founded Tutors of Marin to provide students with personalized support that nurtures academic growth, executive-function skills, and social‑emotional well‑being. He tailors each session to the student’s strengths and interests, guiding them through meaningful problem‑solving and critical thinking to inspire lifelong learning.
